We are located next to Jolly Roger's Beach Shop in between West Gorrie and West Gulf Beach Drive.

In June of 1990 our family opened BJ's Pizza & Subs in the Pine Street Mini- Mall along with three other new businesses including the Market Place. We started with two tables and about 800 square feet. The menu was small but we were determined to provide quality foods that were impossible to find in the area at the time. Now, almost 19 years later, we have moved to a much larger building and our menu and business has grown proportionately. We are proud to be the only restaurant on the island with the original owners and to have become a place that many say they look forward to visiting as they return each year. We have always emphasized a family friendly menu, atmosphere, and environment (including a game room for all to enjoy). And our four-legged friends are always welcome on our deck! We love the St. George Island area, and, plan to be here welcoming our old and new friends for many years to come.

Caroline's Dining on the River
We have proudly served breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guests for 23 years. Caroline’s is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood anytime of the day. Our oysters are caught daily from the Apalachicola Bay and chilled upon capture. Our grouper is served fresh, never frozen, straight from the boats at our marina or from our local seafood provider. Guests may dine inside while enjoying a panoramic view of the Apalachicola River or in our one-of-a-kind screened-in gazebo that is built atop our docks. Our breakfast is legendary and served cooked to order for the our guests staying at the Apalachicola River Inn and is served complimentary. Caroline’s is also open to the public and those visiting the area. We are open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Boss Oyster
Welcome to Oyster-town!! It is exciting to gather and serve the world’s tastiest oysters at our waterfront restaurant, Boss Oyster, located on the beautiful Apalachicola River. We have our very own oyster-men who take pride in the selection, proper harvesting and safe handling of the Apalachicola Bay Oysters we serve fresh. It takes a tough person to harvest a tasty oyster. Our private oyster harvesting boat called BOSS OYSTER (what else?) is one-of-a-kind and has an on-board refrigeration as prescribed and monitored by the Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Commission. Your oysters are chilled, from bay-to-belly.
